The beach access is fantastic, and having the complimentary chairs was a nice perk. The elevators are slow, which can be inconvenient when you're trying to get to the pool or beach quickly. The kids enjoyed the game room, especially the table tennis. Rooms felt a bit outdated, but the ocean view was beautiful.

The beach access was amazing, and we loved using the games room and playing table tennis. Unfortunately, the room cleanliness was lacking and there were slow response times for maintenance. Parking fees were higher than expected too.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The game room was fun for kids. Room cleanliness needs improvement and parking costs were unexpected.

Spacious room, spacious kitchenette with a comfortable living space that allowed us to easily heat leftovers and enjoy lunch without leaving our accommodation.
Nothing everything was great.

The elevators were a nightmare! Both were out of service my first night, and I had to haul my bags up to the sixth floor in sweltering heat. It was a real struggle, especially for the elderly folks around.

A mixed experience. This place boasts a prime beach location. Family-friendly vibes, multiple pools, and cute decor in rooms. The balcony view is spectacular, overlooking the gulf. cleanliness and maintenance are serious issues. A broken toilet tank lid and a dirty bathroom floor greeted us. Service is lacking. No room service until the third night? Ridiculous. No ice or proper drinking water? The beach was unfortunately littered with seaweed during our visit, dampening the experience. Staff could be friendlier and more helpful. For the price paid, amenities fell short. This hotel has potential, but it desperately needs improvement in management and maintenance. I won’t be returning until significant changes are made.

The beach access is awesome, no overcrowding at all. The heated pool was a lifesaver after a long day out.
It wasn’t cheap, but worth it for the quality.

I felt like I won the jackpot with the fun beach activities and the chef's delicious creations at the brewpub.
I had a blast dealing with bugs in the kitchen and struggling to open the balcony door. A real treat!

The beachfront access was a dream come true! I loved soaking up the sun by the heated pool, and the staff made me feel so welcomed with their friendly smiles. The upgrade to a balcony room was the cherry on top—with views that took my breath away every morning!
Strongly recommend! 💖🌊

The room had a lot of space, which was a plus. the floor was somewhat dirty upon arrival. The bed offered decent comfort, but walls were thin, and noise from neighboring rooms was a problem. The door lock malfunctioned, causing concerns about security. Temperature control was satisfactory. The bathroom had a slow-draining vanity sink and the toilet needed repair. The fridge placement was awkward; it had to be adjusted to close properly. Despite these inconveniences, the location was great, right by the beach and close to shops. The friendly staff added to the experience.

Great beach access and clean rooms, but beach chairs and umbrellas cost extra.

The beach access is fantastic and the pool area is a chill spot. Elizabeth was a lifesaver during the chaos of moving rooms.
The room doors could use some serious love.

Great location with beach access right in the backyard. The staff was friendly, especially Deb by the pool, and having a fridge and microwave was convenient. I faced several issues—no internet or cable for the first night, a broken shower, and dirty floors. Plus, the rooftop and pool area felt crowded with ongoing renovations. The parking fee was a surprise, especially since not everyone paid for it. A noisy environment and malfunctioning room features added to the frustration. Despite the lovely beach view and comfort of the bed, these drawbacks made it tough to fully enjoy my visit.

The location on the beach was perfect, offering easy access and fantastic views. The pools were nice, and I enjoyed using the heated pool and hot tub. Additionally, having a kitchen in the room was convenient for preparing breakfast and enjoying the sunrise and sunsets from the balcony.
My room did not meet expectations. The amenities were lacking, with issues like a broken toilet, no working phone, and no room service.

Just an appropriate option for strolling in Fort Walton Beach with good value for cost. Beautiful gulf view.

This spot is right at the beach, making it extremely easy to enjoy the sunny shores, while also being just a short walk away from nearby attractions like the Liza Jackson Park, the interesting Indian Temple Mound Museum, and the lively Downtown FWB Farmers Market, which are all within 10 minutes, so you can have a great time exploring and soaking in the local vibe; the hotel also offers comfortable accommodations and a nice on-site restaurant, but the housekeeping could be improved.

The staff hooked us up with deets on epic beach parties and rad fishing spots. So close to the fishing pier, we caught fish like pros! The peeps here totally get the vibe for young party, goers, helping us have the best time ever!
Just wished they had more pumped, up events for party, loving teens.

Great beach access and pool. Rooms need updates, and towels were hard to find.

The Gulf view from our room was stunning and the pool was never too crowded. The complimentary coffee and pink lemonade were a nice touch. Overall I enjoyed our stay at Wyndham. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

The pools were great, and they provided fun pool toys. The location offered a beautiful beach view, even if not directly on the beach. the on, site restaurant served delicious food, and the servers were friendly.
The front desk staff were unwelcoming and unhelpful, especially during check, in. The Wi, Fi was unreliable, and the shower was confusing to use.

Our family had a fantastic time at this beachfront gem just a stone's throw away from the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier. The friendly staff at this hotel made our family vacation a memorable one, recommending exciting excursions suited for families like ours. The pools, beach views, and nearby outlet malls provided endless entertainment options for us all.
My kids wished for more kid-friendly activities.

The room had a nice terrace with a lovely view, which was great for relaxing in the evenings. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch, and the free Wi-Fi in the rooms was convenient for staying connected. there were some areas that definitely need improvement. The heating and air conditioning in the room seemed a bit inconsistent, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. The tea and coffee facilities were a bit basic and could have been more well-stocked. Housekeeping was a bit hit or miss, as we had to request fresh towels multiple times before receiving them. the cleanliness of the room could have been better, as we found some leftover food in the microwave and spotted a few roaches roaming around, which was not pleasant. the stay was okay, but there are definitely areas that Wyndham Garden could work on. With a bit more attention to detail and maintenance, it could be a more enjoyable stay next time.

We chose Wyndham for its close proximity to Okaloosa Island Pier, but were pleasantly surprised by the hospitable staff. The laid-back island atmosphere at AJ's Seafood & Oyster Bar added to the charm, offering a daily changing menu with delicious options and harborside location. The two outdoor pools with a poolside bar and grill were a delightful bonus.
Moldy room and roaches.

upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by the facility manager, Ms. Valarie, who took great care of us. the Honeymoon Suite was a dream, featuring a full kitchen, a lavish bathroom, and a breathtaking terrace balcony overlooking the ocean. the room was spotless and well-equipped, allowing us to save money on dining out. the hotel also offered free movie rentals, two outdoor pools , and convenient beach access with complimentary chairs and umbrellas. our overall experience at Wyndham was truly exceptional.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair 😔

My stay at this beachfront hotel was a mixed bag. The staff was helpful and accommodating, making my experience enjoyable. The location couldn't be better, with breathtaking views of the beach just steps away. The complementary beach chairs and umbrellas were a nice touch. I also appreciated the availability of bicycles at no additional cost.
There was one unfortunate incident during check-in. One particular staff member was rude and unhelpful, which left a sour taste in my mouth.
Good
